The Woodlawn School PTA would like to thank you for participating in our first annual 'It Takes A Community Fair,' and fundraiser event. 'It Takes A Community,' celebrates the wonderful diversity within our school walls and in our community. Along with your wonderful entertainment their will be other community members sharing their talents on stage. We will also have a silent auction, raffles, food and craft venders, and many fun activities for everyone.

The 2012-13 school years has been a challenge for us as we fought the possible closure of Woodlawn School. Today our community has much to celebrate – Woodlawn is Staying Open! We have won this battle, but have to continue fighting the war to keep Woodlawn off the closure list. The PTA is raising money in order to support school programming, and our teachers, with instructional materials and enrichment opportunities; supplementing the classroom experience for our terrific Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade students. We want to help our school and students to thrive, especially in the areas of art, math, and science!

Woodlawn PTA is a 501c3 and all donations are tax deductible. Money made from the sale of donated items (in the silent auction or in concessions) will go to the PTA's general fund, which is distributed via a grant request system. Many popular and innovative enrichment materials are in Woodlawn's classroom because of this fund and generous donations from organizations and businesses like yours. Thank you for the support that you have already given to Woodlawn School!
